Make sure your slides are the itch, not the scratch

To logo or not to logo?
That is the question, is it better to keep your boss happy by putting your company logo on every slide or to respect your audience and only use it where you need to?
We all know the TV channels that constantly display their logo on screen, I still find it a somewhat intrusive and distracting practice. Do I watch that channel more because I see their logo on screen for an hour? Of course not, although when the right programme is on I will still watch the channel. It is therefore the content that really matters, if your slides have your logo on and your content is good your audience will tolerate it if your slides suck it doesn't matter either way.
If your presentation is truly great the audience will know who you are anyway whether your logo is on every slide or not.
